Kachikau police investigate fatal accident

Police in Kachikau are investigating an accident in which a 41-year-old woman died in a road accident on Sunday afternoon.
In an interview, Superintendent Situme Budani said the accident happened in Mabele when a corolla, which was coming from Kasane, collided with a Toyota Hilux GD6 that was from the opposite direction.
He said the vehicle that was driven by the deceased had a 21-year-old passenger on board, who was admitted at Kasane Primary Hospital with injuries.
Supt Budani said the two were employees of Liswaani I Junior Secondary School.
The other vehicle was driven by a 38-year-old man employed by Kazungula Bridge contractor.
He said the four occupants of the Hilux were unhurt.
Investigations on the matter were on-going. Ends
