Hostel accommodation sufficient

Minister of Basic Education, Mr Fidelis Molao has told Parliament that there is a commensurate hostel accommodation at Lehutshelo and Motaung junior secondary schools as well as Matsha College.
He was responding to a question from Kgalagadi North MP, Ms Talitha Monnakgotla, who asked the minister if he was aware that there was shortage of hostel accommodation at some secondary schools in Kgalagadi North.
Minister Molao, however, said there was a shortage of 71 boarding spaces at Lehututu Junior Secondary School.
He noted that the congestion was being ameliorated through the removal of locker units from the dormitories.
He said modifications were currently being carried out to provide additional boarding spaces, adding that the works would be completed by the end of this month. Ends
