Works force closure of road section near Boatle

A road section along the A1 Road near Boatle is closed for approximately six weeks beginning August 27.
A press release from department of roads states that works are being carried out to freshly construct and asphalt overlay 375 metres of the deteriorating section at Seoposengwe lands.
The release also says the three old existing culverts in the area will also be completely demolished and replaced with new portal culverts.
It says construction works began on August 17 with that of a bypass on which traffic will be diverted during the six-week closure. Furthermore, the release says all works on the project will, however, take four months and public is therefore advised to drive with caution and obey road signs. Ends
