Notwane Football Club has partnered with MN Clothing for a two-year period to provide Sechaba with replicas worth over P140 000 per season.

Notwane FC president, Tebogo Sebego said during a handover ceremony on August 28, that MN Clothing would provide the team with home and away replicas, travelling and training replicas, while the team would also sell replicas to supporters to help the team financially.

He said the partnership would promote the fusion between sport and fashion, which Notwane also known as, Sechaba had been known for over the years.

“MN Clothing should know that Notwane is a team in Botswana that is all about fashion, swag that is widely available in modern sports,” said Sebego.

He said replicas would be made available soon for supporters and other spectators to purchase throughout the country.

Sebego said Botswana football was still developing hence it was vital for corporate institutions to support local football and commercialise it.

He said partnering with MN Clothing was a call by Batswana to heed and support PushaBW brands.

MN Clothing representative, Siyabonga Bosigo said MN Clothing under the capable leadership of Tsotso Ngele came at the right moment for Botswana, as fashion and sports take centre stage in catalysing domino effect.

He said partnerships such as the one they had with Notwane, had far reaching impact not only in sports teams such as Notwane FC but more importantly in football.

He further said the partnership would create jobs and affect fashion and media fraternity in a very positive way which would make football in Botswana a growing business.

Bosigo further appealed to Notwane management, which helped to transform the lives of many players over the years to passionately protect the deal and ensure that it becomes a success.

Bosigo said Notwane had over the years been known for its strong and fully flagged development structures, which produced national stars such as Pontsho Moloi, among others.

However, he said such structures died due to lack of funds. Ends
