Headmen of arbitration on waiting list for recognition

Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Kgotla Autlwetse has told Parliament that there are Headmen of Arbitration in Sefhare – Ramokgonami who are yet to be recognised for engagement and payment. 

Responding to a parliamentary question recently, Mr Autlwetse said that there were seven Headmen of Arbitration in Sefhare – Ramokgonami who were on the waiting list, awaiting consultations at their respective villages. 

He said there were four at Tumasera, one at Mhalapitsa, Borotsi and Chadibe respectively. 

The Assistant Minister highlighted that once consultations were concluded, recommendations would be submitted to the ministry for approval and payment would be effected accordingly, funds permitting. 

Member of Parliament for Sefhare – Ramokgonami, Dr Kesitegile Gobotswang had asked the minister if he was aware that there were Headmen of Arbitration in Sefhare – Ramokgonami who had been assessed and cleared for social employment but were still to receive their monthly allowances and if so to state how many were on the waiting list as well as when they would be assisted.  Ends
