Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration says Mr Thabo Baitseng will be remembered for his devotion to the nation that he served in different capacities, including as a district officer.

Mr Baitseng died on August 2 after he was involved in a road accident near Mmashoro in the Central District.
His younger sister, Lebi said the 40-year old Baitseng was involved in the accident on July 26 when his vehicle overturned after hitting a cow while heading to Letlhakane where he was stationed.
She said her brother was rushed to Mmashoro clinic where he was transferred to Sekgoma Memorial Hospital in Serowe then to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown where he died seven days later.

The deceased started his employment journey in 2007 at Home Corp where he worked for a year.
He was then employed by government in 2008 and held various positions in councils and central government in Ghanzi and Bobirwa sub-districts.
He had since moved to the Boteti Sub-district where he served as district officer.
