Permanent Secretary to the President Mr Elias Magosi has announced transfers, promotions and appointments of some senior public officers.

A media release from Office of the President says that Ms Koongalele Chube has been promoted Financial Intelligence Agency deputy director general.

Mr Pontsho Pusoetsile has been appointed Government Online coordinator while Dr Kabelo Senyatso is the new director of the Department of Wildlife and National Parks.

The release further says Mr Steve Bothasitse and Ms Tebogo Letlhare have both been appointed Ministry of Basic Education directors of regional operations at Kweneng and North West districts respectively.

 Meanwhile Mr Mothusi James has been promoted regional operations director at the Kgatleng District.

Also promoted is Mr Shadreck Majwabe who is now deputy director Curriculum Development and Evaluation as well as Mr Otukile Kedikilwe who assumes the position of deputy director at the Department of Basic Education.

In the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, Mr Stephen Bolebano has been promoted senior assistant director II - engineering specialist.

The release says Mr Lempaletse Matenge has been promoted to the position of deputy director II Information Technology in the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Ms Lois Ngope has been appointed on promotion as ICT director while Ms Bontle Kuhlman has been promoted deputy director for the Department of Basic Education.

The release says Mr Chaa Dijeng has also been promoted as director at the Counter Terrorism Analysis and Fusion Agency.

Mr Bethuel Moreme has been appointed on promotion as Corporate Services senior manager, National Assembly.

Another promotion is that of Ms Baitshepi Hill who is now director for Forestry and Range Resource under the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources Conservation and Tourism.

Mr Gaokgakala Ralobone has been promoted to the position of director for housing in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing Development.

 Mr Uyega Banungi, has been promoted director, procurement and project management in the Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development.

Still on promotions, Mr Willard Ulaula has been appointed senior assistant director I for employee relations in the Directorate of Public Service Management.

Mr Otsetswe Oabile has been appointed senior assistant director II-system analyst in the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development while Mr Dominic Ntwaagae has been appointed project director stationed in Windhoek, Namibia.

Meanwhile on issues of transfers, Mr Ofentse Modisa has been transferred from Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development to the Ministry of Infrastructure and housing Development as deputy permanent secretary, corporate services.

Ms Lorato Platjee has been transferred from the Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing Development to the Ministry of Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration as deputy permanent secretary, corporate services.

Mr Lameck Nthekela has been transferred from the Ministry of International Affairs and Cooperation to Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry as director.

 All transfers, promotions and appointments will effect from  assumption of duty, the release says. Ends
