Seboko Baitlotli receive face shields masks

Teachers and non-teaching staff at Seboko Primary and Baitlotli Junior Secondary schools in Ramotswa have received donation of face shields and masks.
The donation was handed to the school by the former student of the schools who is also a specially elected councilor in the South East District Council, Mr Thabo Kgaswane recently.
Mr Kgaswane said the donation would help the staff fight the COVID-19 pandemic. He said there was need not to ignore the role played by the teachers in imparting knowledge and caring for pupils.
He said teachers contributed a lot to wellbeing of the community through knowledge sharing and empowerment.
He said the donation was an appreciation of the schools, which shaped his future as a graphic designer and politician.
Baitlotli deputy school head, Ms One Hlope, thanked the Mr Kgaswane for his gesture.
She said the scholl embraced community outreach initiatives.
Ms Hlope said any contribution towards the school was noble since it showed that the school operated as part of the community.
For her part Seboko school head, Ms Boraro Jone, said the donation would inspire the teaching and non-teaching staff.
Furthermore, she said the school took pride that the donor was a former student of the school. ends
