Dam levels in healthy state

Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) says dam levels are generally healthy.
A press release from WUC says most of the dams can last up to 20 months without inflow.
It says Dikgatlhong Dam, which supplies greater Gaborone, is at 65 per cent and enough to supply water for 24 months without further inflow.
Letsibogo, Lotsane and Gaborone dams can have 20 months of supply without further inflows.
The release further indicates that Bokaa Dam, which has a carrying capacity of 18.5 cubic metres, has increased from 56.7 per cent to 72.3 per cent and still have 11 months of supply.
However, the public is still advised to continue to use water sparingly. ENDS
