Botswana Football Association (BFA) Electoral Committee has released BFA National Executive Committee election candidates list.

According to a press release from BFA, nominee for the presidency position is Maclean Letshwiti. Tebogo Sebego and Ookeditse Malesu have since been vetted out of the association's presidential race.

According to a release from the association, Maokaneng Bontshetse, Ngele Ngele and Pelotshweu Motlogelwa will battle it out for the first vice president position. For second vice president position, nominees are Masego Ntshingane, Senki Sesinyi and Solomon Ramochotlhwane. Itsholeng Disang, Joy Setshedi, Lobito Ncube and Tsoseletso Magang will contest female representative position.

The release further states that three vacancies for ordinary member positions will be contested by Davis Kopi, Goemeone Letebele, Imwiko Sebina, Alec Manyake, Kesego Okie, Tebogo Kamati, Theresa Hirshfeld, Chandy Moruti, Jonas Ikgopoleng and Joseph Modise. Further, the release states that the electoral board committee shall consider appeals within four days of receipt by BFA general secretariat.

The release says decision of the appeal committee will be final and may not be monitored by any government body. “Appeals, if any, should be filed within four days of the date of this communication, which would be nd of business on July 27,” states the release. ENDS
