Contract renewal requires vetting performance assessment - Autlwetse

Renewal of contracts for dikgosi requires vetting and performance assessment and that often takes time due to consultations involved, Assistant Minister of Local Government and Rural Development told Ntlo ya Dikgosi on July 14.
Mr Kgotla Autlwetse explained that other delays came into play when there was a dispute surrounding their (Dikgosi) authority.
The assistant minister was responding to the question from Kgosi Godfrey Serapo of Boteti Region, who had requested the minister to explain why it took time to respond to requests for renewal of contracts for Dikgosi. ENDS
