Ms Boingotlo Rasebeka (30)  runs a small scale poultry farm in Metsimaswane near Boatle.

CEDA funded the project at a tune of P40 000. Although she targetted individuals and food vendors, Ms Rasebeka said with determination and support from Batswana, her business could cater for larger markets such as retailers and restaurants.

She said she grew up learning farming skills from her parents. When addressing the nation recently, President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi said government would never abandon its responsibility to serve citizens.

He said CEDA would launch revised guidelines soon. The guidelines would give specific special focus to manufacturing, mining, construction, energy, technology, agriculture, creative industry and tourism sectors.

He said the new guidelines would be a response to concerns raised by young people, entrepreneurs, women and the people living with disabilities. ends
