Sherwood horticultural farmer donates buckets masks

JP Roos Vegetables owner, Mr Jan Pierre Roos, has donated 26 electric buckets and 50 masks to Lerala Primary School recently.
A CEDA beneficiary and horticultural farmer in Sherwood, Mr Roos said he wanted to assist learners during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He said the buckets would be used to warm water for learners’ to wash their hands.
Ms Portia Setlhong, a teacher at Lerala primary, thanked Mr Roos for the P7 500 worth donation.
She said the items were necessary during the COVID-19 era.
Ministry of Basic Education official from Palapye, Ms Ediretse Sebusang said Mr Roos cared enough to ensure pupils were provided with warm water and also taking the burden off government.
She urged the school to look after them while PTA member, Mr Moeteledi Mafoko, encouraged the school and Mr Roos to continue working together to improve the school’s learning environment. Ends
