First National Bank Botswana (FNBB) over the weekend embarked on a disinfection exercise in Maun as part of its Social Corporate Responsibility.
In an interview on the sidelines of the fumigation exercise at the main kgotla on June 19, FNBB Maun administration manager, Ms Gareitsanye Keitumetse said the bank spent about P360 000 to fumigate public spaces countrywide.
The disinfection exercise was also in partnership with a youthful company called KPS Hygiene Services which had contributed about P140 000 towards the exercise.
Ms Keitumetse said the exercise was also part of the bank’s contribution towards curbing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
Areas disinfected in Maun included the main kgotla, Rural Administration Centre and Maun Administration Authority offices as well as open spaces at both the old and new malls. ENDS
