Pastor Sikazwe counsels Kasane Admistration employees
14 Jun 2020
Pastor Mike Sikazwe of Kasane Divine World Ministry says everyone who was engaged during the lockdown and beyond could still rebuild under the new normal.
Giving encouragement at a brief psycho-social counselling session organised for Kasane District Administration employees who were engaged during the lockdown, Pastor Sikazwe said the employees could still adapt and adjust under the new normal and concentrate on their work as before.
He explained that some employees who were in the forefront against the pandemic, could have gone through difficult situations and experiences hence the need to counsel them.
“Some of you might have been mocked for refusing with movement permits. Forget and forgive because you were doing what was supposed to be done,” he added.
Pastor Sikazwe further advised employees to focus on rebuilding the economy which almost collapsed due to the pandemic.
He also encouraged them to be enthusiastic in their work and help the economy to recover so that they could reach their destiny.
Pastor Sikazwe noted that some sectors such as the tourism industry had been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
He, however, reminded employees that COVID-19 was still in existence hence the need to continue complying with pandemic protocols.
Chobe District commissioner, Ms Sekgabo Makgosa advised the employees that Pastor Sikazwe also provided one-on-one counselling sessions. ENDS
