A 32-year-old man of Toteng died in a road accident along the Bothatogo/Bodibeng road on Sunday.
District No. 5 Officer Commanding Senior Superintendent Peter Gochela said the man was driving from Bodibeng to Toteng when he allegedly lost control of his vehicle.
One of the passengers sustained head injuries and was hospitalised while the other sustained minor injuries and was treated and discharged.
In another incident, Senior Supt Gochela said a 34-year-old man, who was a passenger, died in a road accident along the Shorobe-Maun road.
Senior Supt Gochela said the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
He said the man was certified dead at Letsholathebe Memorial Hospital. The driver sustained a fracture on his right leg and the other passenger sustained serious injuries. They were both admitted at Letsholathebe Memorial Hospital.
Senior Supt Gochela urged road users to be cautious, especially on the Maun-Shorobe road. He noted that it was narrow and susceptible to road accidents due to wildlife in the area. Ends
