02 Jun 2020
As schools re-opened this morning Tsabong Unified Senior Secondary School headmaster, Mr Esau Jongman says it is critical to tighten discipline on learners to ensure adherence to COVID-19 health protocols.
Speaking in an interview with BOPA this morning he said about 480 pupils entered the gates in the wee hours of the morning as schools re-opened.
These he said, were eight Form Three classes and eight Form Five classes which he said shall not be subjected to a double shift on account of the fact that the school had larger classrooms and had made use of some which were not in use before Coronavirus.
Mr Jongman said facilities were ready after having installed about 30 handwashing basins at the school entrance and others in strategic points throughout the school.
Learners were subjected to temperature health checks and each registered their details applying a hand sanitiser and washing their hands before entering the school. ENDS
