Kwape applauds Chinese billionaire

The Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr Lemogang Kwape, has applauded Chinese philanthropist and billionaire, Mr Jack Ma, for contributing towards Botswana’s efforts to curb spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.
When receiving a consignment that included 2 500 test kits and personal protective equipment, Dr Kwape said the donation would ensure safety of the frontline workers.
He said the pandemic revealed the strength of Botswana’s partnership with the rest of the world, saying the relationship was a source of strength for both parties.
Dr Kwape further urged Batswana to continue adhering to all COVID-19 pandemic prevention regulations. Ends
