Old age pensioners Ipelegeng workers to receive dues electronically

Old age pensioners will soon receive their dues without having to visit the post office, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Eric Molale has said.
Addressing Ghanzi leadership Friday, May 22, Mr Molale said pensioners’ monthly payments would instead be deposited into their personal accounts as part of efforts to ensure compliance to social distancing protocols.
“The new arrangement is more convenient to pensioners than the old one where they were compelled to risk their lives by leaving their houses very early to keep the queue,” he said.
Mr Molale said the same would apply for Ipelegeng workers. ENDS
