Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Eric Molale has said Ipelegeng funds will be used to engage people who will clean ablutions of public primary and secondary schools.

Addressing Ghanzi leadership on Friday May 22, Minister Molale stated that the personnel would be expected to clean schools ablutions on hourly basis and would be provided with protective clothing.

He added that there would be no sharing of tools to avoid the possible spreading of COVID-19.

Concerning the enforcement of COVID-19 pandemic protocols, Mr Molale stated that government would engage people in each village who would be ensuring that all protocols are observed, particularly in public spaces.

At the same time, he said Village Extension Teams would continue playing their oversight role to ensure that COVID-19 protocols are observed. ENDS
