Thamalakane River Lodge has pledged to deliver thermometers to all schools in the Ghanzi region by end of the weekend.

This was confirmed by one of the lodge directors, Mr Hein Rues in an interview recently after delivering 27 infrared forehand thermometers, alongside 27 New Testament Bibles to Ghanzi region May 21. 

Mr Hein indicated that they had already completed delivery in the southern part of Botswana and were now focused on the northern part.

He was confident that all 996 units of thermometers and Bibles, worth P1.4 million would have reached respective regions by end of the weekend. 

“It is our commitment to see all schools compliant to COVID-19 protocols so that pupils, who are the future of the country and economy, resume learning,” he said. 

Ghanzi regional education director, Dr Mpho Isaiah appreciated the donation, saying it had come at an opportune time when they were also preparing to reopen schools. Ends
