Lotlhakane Masters Social Club has donated hand sanitisers, hand soap,face masks and solution tanks worth P3 200 to the village leadership.

Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, the club’s secretary general, Mr Onkabetse Manuel they decided to heed the national call to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by making their contribution.

He said hey had a social responsibility to respond to various needs within the community including fight against the pandemic.

Mr Manuel noted that they had already made a mark through various contributions in the village and they had been part of national activities such as Independence Day celebrations.

He said the donation would go a long way in augmenting government’s efforts to fight the spread of COVID-19 especially at a time when schools were getting ready to re-open after lockdown.ends
