Ms Kutlase also said to assist the truck drivers they have permitted Poverty Eradication beneficiaries who have been operating tuck shops at the border to open so that the truck drivers are able to buy food and other necessities.
On another point, she said about 35 trucks from South Africa entered the country Monday and after undergoing the necessary border checks and coronavirus tests, they were permitted to proceed to their delivery destinations.
She noted that the trucks were being escorted by the police and the soldiers and they have not had any challenges conveyed to them by the authorities at the border. ENDS
