Builders World has donated clothes to children at Kasane Primary Hospital. 

The donation included boxes of clothes for newborn babies, 0-3 months boys and girls as well as to those aged 3 to 6 months.

When presenting the donation at district commissioner's office, Kasane Builders World managing director, Mr Pradeep Gamage, said this was meant to provide relief to mothers in need.

Mr Gamage said the company realised that some mothers were faced with unprecedented challenges during this period of COVID-19 lockdown. 

The hospital's matron, Ms Kelapile Marapo, said the donation came at at time when some women were unable to buy clothes because some shops were closed due to the lockdown.

Ms Marapo thanked Builders World for its generosity, especially that temperatures were beginning to fall significantly.

Since May 15, office of the district commissioner in Kasane received over P59 000 financial donations, 74 personal protective equipment, 273 food donations and 16 donations in kind. Ends
