Tatisiding residents, Ms Pulane Ollyn and Ms Bahedile Tibile, both aged 59, make a living through by collecting Mosu tree pods.
They said after collecting, cleaning and packaging them into 50kg sacks, they would sell to farmers who use them to feed their livestock.
They charge P50 for a 50kg sack. The duo said the business sustained them.
Acacia trees and other browse species produce pods and leaves which could be harvested and processed as supplement feed.
The pods are ripen during the dry season and can be used to supplement livestock feed when there is an inadequate supply of feed especially during drought season. Ends
