Man shot injured

A 30-year-old man of Ndzonga ward in Nkange is fighting for his life at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital in Francistown after he was allegedly shot at Metsi Tshaa cattle post, where he is working as herd boy.

Tutume Police Station commander, Superintendent Jerry Halahala said on April 30 that the victim was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday with serious body injuries.

He said the man informed the police that he was shot by a 56-year- old farmer at the cattle pots.

He further said the police had found the gun that was suspected to have been used in the incident. The suspect is likely to be charged with attempted murder. Police investigations continue. Ends
