Malatswae residents await relief packages

A total of 18 families found to be in dire need of food relief have been assisted at Malatswae in the Central District.
A further 268 homesteads who have been assessed are awaiting food packages from social workers.
Malatswae ward councilor, Mr Benard Kenosi told BOPA that all the 268 homesteads were eligible and were recommended for assistance.
Mr Kenosi stated that most complained that they had no food and needed urgent help adding that residents relied on the Ipelegeng programme, without which they had no source of income to support their families.
He appealed to the residents to be patient since help was on the way. Ends
