People flocking at Tutume primary hospital concern
14 Apr 2020
Tutume District Health Management Team head, Dr Irvan Kgetse has complained about the large number of people coming to Tutume Primary Hospital claiming to check on their loved ones at the hospital.
He said some patients were sneaked out of their hospital beds without being discharged.
He said following the state of public emergency, hospital visiting hours were suspended as a preventative measure for patients.
Dr Kgetse said there were some people who made coming to the hospital an excuse to leave their homes despite notification on suspended visiting hours.
He said arrangements had been made for people to collect their medications from their respective health facilities. He said where there was no medicine; arrangements would be made to stock up. Ends
