National lab to release COVID-19 test results in a day

The national laboratory has changed its turnaround time of releasing COIVD-19 results to a day from three days.
Kasane DHMT coordinator, Dr Botshelo Kgwaadira said the improvement of the turnaround time was commendable.
So far, 20 people who were quarantined in Kasane have been released after testing negative for COVID-19.
Dr Kgwaadira thanked CTO Kasane for availing a bus and other vehicles to transport those who were released from quarantine to their respective places.
Meanwhile, Botswana recently registered seven new cases, making 13, the total of coronavirus infections including one death in the country. ENDS
