Productive workforce essential to transformation
17 Mar 2020
The Ministry of Defence, Justice and Security can not achieve the much desired transformation unless it has a charged, focused, results-driven and productive workforce.
Speaking at the closing of a two-day ministerial Performance Improvement Committee retreat, Minister Kagiso Mmusi explained that the workshop was borne out of the need to continually develop the workforce’s knowledge, attitude and competencies.
Mr Mmusi said the knowledge they had acquired would help make them productive, accountable, transparent, virtuous, corruption free and professional.
He therefore urged participants to implement what they had learnt from the retreat specifically encouraging them to address money laundering and counter financing of terrorism challenges with the skills they had acquired.
He described the presentation on anti-money laundering and counter financing of terrorism as an eye opener.ends
