President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi yesterday relayed his condolences to the Mokgosi family of Molepolole following the loss on Monday of Nametso Tatedi-Mokgosi.

Tatedi-Mokgosi, who was the wife of Botswana Democratic Party (BDP) councillor for Lephaleng Ward in Molepolole South constituency, Mr Slumber Mokgosi, died after a short illness.

Comforting the family, President Masisi said government and the BDP were saddened and shocked by the passing of Councillor Mokgosi’s wife.

He extended heartfelt sympathies to the Mokgosi family on their tragic loss.

“We mourn with you on this tragic loss,” he said adding a lot was still expected from the deceased who had served as district commissioner in Goodhope Sub-district.

President Masisi was accompanied by Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration, Mr Kabo Morwaeng, Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Eric Molale as well as Kgosi Kgari III.

Family spokesperson, Mr Kabelo Mokgosi said the deceased, 47, would be buried in Molepolole on Saturday. Ends
