A former Madiba Senior Secondary School student, Mr Mmoloki Maswikila recently launched Maswikila. com online tutorials services, at his former school to help students excel in their academics.

Mr Maswikila said the tutorials, which would cost P1200/pupil annually, would benefit every pupil who is struggling with any subject, as the platform has the whole syllabus.

“You are going to be engaged in a daily testing centre,” he said.

He said Maswikila. com online was an open book platform, which would be beneficial to both fast and the slow learners.

He pleaded with the pupils to inform their parents about the initiative as their involvement in their children’s educational was important.

Mr Maswikila said the initiative would also feature the email addresses of the parents.

For his part, Member of Parliament for Mahalapye East, Mr Yandani Boko, who is also a Class of 2006, urged the students to use the initiative to improve their performance.

Mr Boko also urged Madiba pupils to work hard to be in the top 10. He said although some of them may have poor backgrounds, they should not let such circumstances affect their results.

The councillor for Mahalapye North, Ms Julia Miranda appreciated Maswikila online tutorials and urged the pupils to be positive about the initiative.

Ms Miranda encouraged class of 2020 to work hard and take Madiba to new heights.

Furthermore, she advised all the pupils to refrain from sexual activities, use of drugs and alcohol abuse, but to focus on their goals.

Both the MP and councillor promised to be involved with the ‘rebuilding’ of Madiba to take it to greater heights.

The school head, Mr Oscar Tshupelo applauded Mr Maswikila for the initiative, adding that they were busy strategising on ways to build a better Madiba.

Mr Tshupelo also encouraged the class of 2020 to use the initiative to make it to top 10.

He applauded the class of 2019 for taking the school to position 15 nationally.

He also said his team was  working tirelessly to a place where no student would be involved with the police. ENDS
