Fire rescue team decries shortage of resources

Mahalapye Fire Brigade rescue team appeared before a board of inquiry into derailment of Botswana Railways passenger train 0501, in December last year.
The team decried shortage of resources that were critical during accidents. According to the team, Mahalapye was an accident prone area, but the rescue teams did not have enough or relevant equipment to enable them to perform their rescue function efficiently and effectively. Ends
