State House unoccupied due to renovations

Assistant Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration has refuted allegations that government is building a new State House at a new location.

Responding to a parliamentary question Monday, Mr Meshack Mthimkhulu explained that the current State House was not occupied due to ongoing renovations.

Mr Mthimkhulu added that renovations were yet to be completed.

Member of Parliament for Francistown South, Mr Wynter Mmolotsi, had asked the minister to state why the current State House was not occupied and if it was true that government was considering a new State House at a new location. Ends
