Seasole Primary School head, Ms Esther Boiditswe, has commended Cowburn Isherwood Associates for the spirit of giving.
Speaking during an event to hand over a sliding gate and 104 pairs of shoes to Seasole Primary School recently, Ms Boiditswe commended Cowburn for uplifting lives of the learners.
Staff of Cowburn Isherwood Associates, a Geoscience consulting company based in Orapa and Letlhakane, said they identified the learners and school’s needs when they were moving around Letlhakane.
She expressed gratitude for the gate, saying they had been troubled by goats and cattle, especially in the school garden.
She said the school garden would start producing good yields since they would be able to prevent livestock from destroying their produce.
Ms Boiditswe pleaded with other companies and the community to help the school with classes and chairs, revealing that some pupils were taught under trees.
She promised that they will take good care of their gifts.
Cowburn Isherwood Associates director, Mr John Tidi said they found it fit to assist by donating shoes looking at the area’s harsh weather conditions.
He thanked Debswana for partnering with them to make their dream come true, adding that he hoped that the shoes will encourage the learners to love school and perform well in their studies. Mr Tidi also promised that they will continue helping the school with the little that they have.
Seasole pupil, Shantel Boikanyo thanked Cowburn Isherwood for the donation, adding that the gifts would encourage them to love their school work and not to miss school because they did not have shoes. ENDs
