BHC awaits services in Molepolole
06 Feb 2020
The Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development, Mr Mmusi Kgafela, says Botswana Housing Cooperation (BHC) will commence plan to build 100 houses in Molepolole when the necessary services are in place.
Responding to a question from Molepolole North MP, Mr Oabile Regoeng, the minister said construction of the houses was suspended since 2012 due to shortage of water and the unavailability of sewer reticulation infrastructure in the area where the plot earmarked for the houses was situate.
He said the plan was to construct 100 housing units in Molepolole with a potential for additional high density units. Mr Kgafela further explained that plans to have the necessary infrastructure put in place were at an advanced stage.
Mr Regoeng had wanted clarity on the plan to construct BHC houses in Molepolole and when the construction will commence including the cause of the change of plan of the construction of the housing units. ENDS
