Serufho attends youth and winter sports congress

Botswana National Olympic Committee (BNOC) CEO, Tuelo Serufho will be among panelists in a round table at the Congress of Youth and Winter Sports Lausanne 2020 to held on January 8.

The panelists will discuss the topic ‘How to support young athletes'.

Serufho, will share the stage with a Medical doctor and PhD student at the Oslo Sports Trauma Research Center, Christine Moseid, International Olympic Committee’s senior project manager - athlete support, Chantal Kelley, Polish speed skater, Luiza ZÅ‚otkowska and Camilia Knight, who is a senior lecture at the ‘A STEM’ research at the University of Swansea. Serufho was picked out of the 206 world National Olympic Committees to be their representative.

According to Congress of Youth and Winter Sports Lausanne 2020 Website, the congress is organised by the University of Lausanne (UNIL), alongside academic partners, the EPFL, the CHUV and the Sport Science network SmartMove and also in collaboration with Think Sport. 

The congress, which starts tomorrow, will end with a round table, organised in collaboration with the IOC Olympic Studies Centre on the topic ‘Uniqueness of young elite athletes. Ends
