Fighters unveil new kit

Mogoditshane Fighters technical sponsor, Carrera Holdings on December 11 unveiled the team’s new home and away kit to be used during the current season.
Speaking at the launch, Minister of Youth Empowerment, Sport and Culture Development, Tumiso Rakgare said the company’s invaluable gesture of support for sport in was welcomed. Mogoditshane Fighters to use the sponsorship as a spring board for a more rewarding sporting career, adding ‘I want to urge the team administrators to be accountable for the money sponsors give them and not misuse funds.
Let us put players in the forefront as they are the most vital aspects of football,’’ he said.
He also commended Carrera Holdings and all stakeholders for playing a key role in sport, thus helping government, which had committed funds towards building sporting facilities at various districts across the country, to help young talent at district level.
For his part, Carrera Holdings managing director, Chirag Patel said their partnership with Fighters was the beginning of big things as they wished to take the relationship even further.
Patel said they were proud to be associated with Fighters because it had contributed to the development of football in the country.
“This is a contribution to develop our youngsters and raise the Botswana flag high,” he said.
He said it was their social corporate responsibility to give back to the community that supports them daily, hence sponsoring the team with kit. ENDS
