The Zion Christian Church (ZCC) will provide Mmopane Clinic with an ambulance to enhance the facility’s medical services.

This was revealed by the church’s  bishop, Dr Barnabas Lekganyane during a meeting with President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi in Gaborone December 5.

The church built Mmopane Clinic in 2017 at a cost of P10m.

President Masisi expressed gratitude to ZCC for its generosity to Botswana saying it  continued to contribute to the development of this country.

Botswana, he said, was blessed and delighted for the fruitful relationship it enjoyed with the church. The President said government lived by the ideals of peace, good principles and good governance.

He said this was evident in the just ended October general elections, which were free, fair and peaceful. Dr Masisi said the Botswana Democratic Party was very grateful to have prevailed during the highly contested elections. The President requested prayers for economic stability and sustainability of the country as well as for continued peace and good governance. ENDS
