The body of an 18-month-old baby girl of Borolong, who is suspected to have fallen into a stream leading to Shashe River, November 18, was found this morning after a four-day intensive search by members of the Botswana Police Service and the public.

Tatitown Police Station commander, Superintendent Edward Leposo confirmed in an interview that the body was found trapped in some rocks near Mphane lands along Shashe River.

Superintendent Leposo said the body was intact, even though it was initially retrieved by some dogs.

The girl, together with her five-year-old brother, allergedly fell into the stream when they were trying to cross to the other side of the village after some heavy down pours.

However, the brother was discovered on the same day trapped under a bridge, after which members of the public, the police and scuba divers launched a massive search, which led them to Mphane lands, where the body was found  Ends
