Search continues without any lead

The search for the missing 18-month-old girl of Borolong village in the Central District, who is suspected to have fallen into a stream that passes through the village continues.
The girl and her five-year-old brother allergedly fell into the stream while trying to follow their mother to the other side of the river on Tuesday afternoon.
The body of the brother was found on the same day under a the bridge and is lying at Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital for post-mortem.
Tatitown station commander, Superintendent Edward Leposo explained that the search team had gone as far as Shashe Bridge, but to no avail.
He however said they had not yet given up, adding that the search would continue and that there was hope that they would find the body, especially with the help from members of the community.
Scuba divers from Botswana Defence Force (BDF) were also called in yesterday to assist in the search.
Superintendent Leposo further stated that they had also drained some of the waters from the river, where they suspected the body could be lying. Ends
