Gaborone United chairperson Boitumelo Nsunge says coach, Madinda Ndlovu is responding well to treatment.
Nsunge said in an interview that Ndlovu, who collapsed during training last week, was rushed to Gaborone Private Hospital and he was still in Intensive Care Unit.
“We are confident that he will recover.
The doctors have assured us that he is responding very well, so I urge all football fraternity to keep him in prayers.” he said.
He said the team was currently in capable hands of assistant coaches, Stephen Maposa and Khalid Niyonzima.
Madinda joined Gaborone United in July on a two-year contract and during the pre-season he took Gaborone United to Zimbabwe for a training camp.
His first league assignment with Gaborone United was against Gilport Lions and his side won 3-0 courtesy of Mara Moloi’s hattrick. ENDs
