VP urges family to remain hopeful

Vice President Mr Slumber Tsogwane has urged the Segaise family to remain hopeful that their missing family member Kgosi Letang Segaise would be found in a safe state.
Mr Tsogwane, who paid the family a visit at Rakops recently, stated that the trying period required all to work cooperatively by offering support.
He implored the residents to remain calm while awaiting police investigations.
The area MP ssured the family that he would keep them in his prayers until they know the fate of the missing member.
The Vice President noted that both Botswana Defence Force (BDF) and Botswana Police Service (BPS) have been requested to provide support in the search by availing their resources.
He said the BDF already gave a positive response by availing a helicopter on Thursday, but did not make any headway regarding Kgosi Segaise’s whereabouts.
Mr Tsogwane appealed to the police to keep assisting with the use of a helicopter.
The missing person’s son Mr Boletilwe Letang indicated that his father went missing on a Tuesday, the second week of August 2019, and all efforts employed to locate him proved futile.
Mr Letang however appreciated the public’s support, saying they had been cooperative in the search.
Kgosi Segaise’s grandson Mr Ntelang Segaise appreciated the support they received from both the public and the police since the old man was reported missing.
Councillor Batoli Manyuni expressed hope that Kgosi Segaise would be found in a sound state. Ends
