Water Utilities Corporation introduces self-service platforms

Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) this year participated at the Global Expo to familiarise its customers with new developments.
Speaking in an interview, WUC Corporate Communications Officer, Ms Lorato Phuthe highlighted that the corporation had improved its services, saying instead of going to its offices, customers can now access its services online.
She said WUC decided to take advantage of the expo to inform its customers about the new developments, which include online access where customers can pay their bills using their phones as well as view their bill and send their meter readings.
Ms Phuthe said the corporation had also introduced the WUC app that customers can download through goggle play store and the website.
She said they also used the expo to sensitise their customers about processes involved in making the water safe to drink and how it reaches the consumer. ENDS
