NTT joins hands with Tati Town community

NTT Nissan Francistown on Thursday declared a new partnership with Tati town community during a blanket donation in Francistown.

Speaking at the event, principal dealer at NTT Francistown, Mr Willem Combrink said the Nissan group wanted to be part of the community they did business with, hence a donation to give back to the elders, youth and people working hard for the betterment of the community.

He said it was their obligation to continue helping the community wherever they could.

Nissan group donated around 40 blankets to the elders from four wards at Tati Town being; White City, Botsalano, Itekeng and Blue Town.

Kgosi Ishmael Legwaila of Tati Town said the elders receiving presents had worked tirelessly to ensure that Botswana was developed, hence needed to be appreciate. He said since government could not go alone, assistance from private sectors and individuals alike was more than welcome.

He said he was impressed with the initiative of the Nissan Group of giving back to the community, which strengthened partnership of both parties.

Kgosi Legwaila urged the group to continue helping government by assisting the community.

He applauded the elders for their contribution towards the development of the country.

Ward development committee member, Ms Angel Mazala, said the committee welcomed the new partnership with Nissan Group.

She thanked Kgosi Legwaila for his good leadership, which she said had glued people together.

Assistant tribal secretary, Ms Edith Weston urged elders to take proper care of the gifts and ensure they last long. ENDS
