Ministry of Health and Wellness appreciates Debswana’s ambition to upgrade health posts to clinics, Assistant Minister Sethomo Lelatisitswe has said.

Speaking during a recent tour of Moreomaoto Health Post expansion, Mr Lelatisitswe said the development would ease congestion and enhance confidentiality at the facility.

Orapa, Letlhakane and Damtshaa Mines general manager, Mr Bakani Motlhabani, said the aim was to add more rooms.

He said the objective of the tour was to appreciate progress of the project whose cost was P1.8 million.

From the amount, Debswana was to spend P1.6 million and the remaining will be paid by TKM Engineering, which is carrying out the development.

Mr Motlhabani said partnerships benefitted the community and Moremaoto residents’ request to have the health post extended was now becoming a reality through Debswana/TKM Engineering partnership.

The project which has employed 17, would be completed by September. Ends
