Government plans to redevelop plot

Government owns one unoccupied plot in Extension 9 out of 16 identified in Extensions 5, 9 and 11 Gaborone Central.
This was said by the Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Development, Mr Vincent Seretse in Parliament in a response to a question by Gaborone Central MP, Dr Phenyo Butale.
Minsiter Seretse said three houses: plots 2441 (Ext 5), 2641 (Ext 9) and 2645 (Ext 9) were owned by Botswana Housing Corporation (BHC).
He also explained that plot 2693 owned by government was earmarked for redevelopment by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development, while those owned by BHC, were earmarked for redevelopment (densified) and currently at design stage.
The remaining 12 houses were privately owned. ENDS
