PMH expands accident emergency cubicles
11 Jul 2019
Princess Marina Hospital (PMH) has embarked on a project to expand the accident and emergency cubicles.
A press release from the hospital states that the project will increase the beds from 18 to 38.
“The project, which started last week, will create four cubicles for observation, resuscitation, isolation and general ward at the old Oncology Ward,” it states.
The release explains that all patients who are not critical but waiting to see a doctor, blood transfusion and hydrating, among other things, will be observed in the area.
The project is anticipated to be complete by the end of July and will help reduce congestion at the emergency section and reduce unnecessary delays and admissions. ENDS
