Headmen of Goo-Sekgweng have expressed gratitude to Permanent Secretary to the President (PSP), Mr Carter Morupisi for donating executive office chairs to the village dikgosi.

Mr Morupisi donated eight chairs to the village kgotla, which would be distributed amongst the village headmen.

When handing over the donation, he said the chairs were appropriate in that dikgosi needed to serve with dignity, explaining that besides handling cases in the villages, consultation for development plans and projects usually commenced at the kgotla.

Mr Morupisi said consultation with citizens was one of President Dr Mokgweetsi Masisi’s core principles and should be followed through.

He called on dikgosi to maintain peace and unity within the village.

He explained that previously when he came to Goo-Sekgweng to donate school bags to children, dikgosi requested for office chairs, hence the donation, which was done with help from the Morupisi R7 Foundation.

Goo Sekgweng headmen Mr Ontibile Ramatakala and Thabano Ogolotse thanked Mr Morupisi for the donation and commended him for donating school bags to children at the village primary schools. ENDS
