The Assistant Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry, Mr Karabo Gare has told Parliament that the Gambling Authority has staff complement of 51. Answering a question in Parliament, Mr Gare said 30 of the employees were female which translated to 58 per cent and 21 male employees which translated to 42 per cent of the total workforce. He said the Authority had  34 employees under the age of 35 which translated to 67 per cent of the staff complement, and the percentage of  females below 35 years of age was 47 per cent, which translated to 24 staff members. 

Mr Gare said the percentage of total staff who were males below 35 years of age was 20 per cent which translated to 10 staff members. Selebi Phikwe West MP, Mr Dithapelo Keorapetse has asked the minister to state the total staff complement of the Gambling Authority and the demographics especially gender and age as well as the percentage of total staff complement who are females and males below the age of 35.ENDS
